DUBOIS – The DuBois Mall is seeking their tax assessment to be reappraised.
With declining property value, and an increase of stores closing, the mall is seeking a new appraisal in hopes of lowering their annual tax bill.
Commissioners say that this appraisal will cost roughly $14,000 dollars, which will be paid in collaboration with the County, Sandy Township, and DuBois School District.
The mall currently pays $75,000 dollars annually.
