DUBOIS – A new voice for environmental issues could soon be coming to DuBois.
At the recommendation of Management, the DuBois City Council approved to transform the old Beautification Committee into an Environmental Advisory Council.
This advisory group would allow roughly seven volunteers to conduct research and carry out environmental actions.
There are around 140 similar groups throughout the Commonwealth, this change is expected to cost the city little beyond legal expenses.
