DUBOIS – A DuBois High School student is in the Clearfield County jail without bail after he brought guns on school property and threatened to shoot and strangle another student.
Police say 18-year-old Ryan Mancuso had a 22 rifle, a multi-round magazine, a box of 22 hollow points and a box of shotgun shells in a vehicle he drove to school.
Police also found a 308, utility knife, and ammunition in the trunk of the car.
The arrest was the result of a teacher that alerted the principal about a confrontation that could escalate.
Mancuso was charged with three counts of terroristic threats and three counts of possessing a weapon on school property.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 29.
