DuBois Finances on Track

DUBOIS – City of DuBois officials say the municipality’s finances remain in good shape as we head into the second half of the year.

Lisa Hagberg told Council members that the city has collected about six million dollars in revenue, spent nearly four million dollars and maintains a healthy cash balance.

We want to remain disciplined in our spending,” explained Hagberg.”So, we want to be sure that we are watching every dollar because those small line items that are slightly over budget add up.“

Hagberg says the city will continue monitoring spending, particularly legal expenses and other costs, to help keep the budget on track through the rest of the year.
