DUBOIS — Eat’n Park’s Volunteer of the Year for 2022 has been named, and it is the manager of the DuBois Eat’n Park, Joshua Penvose.
The many volunteer hours that Penvose invests into the DuBois Fire Department and the DuBois Area United Way is what was recognized by the recent award.
Penvose said he was shocked, even when he found out he was a finalist for the honor. He said it was quite humbling to win. Penvose has been a member of the DuBois Volunteer Fire Department for more than 20 years, and he was co-chairman of the DuBois Area United Way campaign last year. Penvose added that he likes to volunteer and give back to the community because he’s been blessed with everything he has in his life.
Eat’n Park said the award is peer-nominated and is based on community volunteerism and involvement
