DUBOIS – Community Days in DuBois has been unanimously approved to take place June 12th through the 15th, with this year’s festivities returning to local Fire Departments.
Last year, Community Days was not held by the Fire Department for the first time in decades, instead being transformed into DuBois Days.
While the next Community Days is going back to the Fire Department, council members had some concerns.
Councilmember Jen Jackson wanted an independent firm to manage the event’s funds, which was already arranged. She also pushed for DuBois Days organizers to help plan Community Days if possible.
