DuBois, PA – The DuBois City Police warn that a scam artist is impersonating them, attempting to get you to pay a fake fine.
The City Police say it’s been brought to their attention that there is a phone number by 814-305-6711 stating they are Sgt. Thompson from the DuBois City Police Department.
The male is stating that you missed a court date and the judge ordered they pay a monetary restitution for missing the court date.
