DUBOIS – Controversy about legal fees and income were hot topics of the public comment section of last night’s DuBois City Council meeting.

During the meeting, legal fees were brought up, and residents wanted to know whose legal fees were covered by City funds.

Interim City Manager Chris Nasuti explains….

Resident Debbie Mechling also asked if former City Manager Herm Suplizio’s income was still being paid to him or being put in escrow following the charges against Suplizio.

Mayor Ed Walsh responded…

In other business, the Council voted to rename the Sandy Bridge after Trooper First Class Brad Wilson.

Wilson was involved in a 12-hour standoff in 2013, where he was shot twice and left critically injured after attempting to serve a search warrant.
