DUBOIS — DuBois City Council has released the following statement regarding an audit of all city accounts, funds, and other financial documents:
“As promised in the original statement released by Solicitor Cherry regarding the allegation against the
City Manager, City Council has been vigilant in its oversight of city funds and has remained committed to
ensuring integrity is maintained within DuBois City government. In addition to performing an on-going
internal review of our practices and policies, City Council has initiated the process of completing a full
forensic audit of all DuBois accounts, funds and other financial documents through the offices of the
Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. We ask for your continued
patience as we carefully and thoughtfully progress through our investigation. City Council is committed
to completing this investigation with full transparency and encourages all residents to ask questions and
attend all public meetings.”
