DUBOIS – Soon it will look a lot like Christmas in the City of DuBois as Downtown DuBois invites you to “Brighten the Night” tonight.
The annual tradition, held at the city park, will have a slew of holiday themed festivities including the Night Before Christmas, read by First Class Children’s Foundation, Grinch themed hot cocoa from DCC, and new this year, a Christmas card craft table to go to local nursing homes.
We heard from Shirley Dahrouge, Executive Director of Downtown DuBois, who tells us what you can expect tonight.
“The Salvation Army will be there with their truck doing warm refreshments,“ explained Dahrouge. “Next Tier Bank will be there with cookies, Kurt Johnson Auto Sales, he’s going to be there. Life Coaching and beyond, she will be there with a booth. And of course what everybody is really looking forward to, and that’s Mr. and Mrs. Clause.”
Everything kicks off at 6pm with the lighting of the Christmas tree and music provided by DJ Madd Maxx.
