DuBois Beavers Fall in Record Length PIAA Baseball Championship

DUBOIS – The DuBois Beavers Baseball team made history during the PIAA Championship game Friday.

The title game against Greencastle-Antrim stretched to a record 14 innings after the game tied up in the bottom of the 7th inning. 

DuBois regained the lead in the 14th inning, but Greencastle answered with two runs to secure a 6-5 victory and the state championship. 

This is the first championship game the Beavers have played since 1992.
