DuBois – At the DuBois Area School Board meeting Thursday night, the board unanimously voted to approve hiring Lauren McLaughlin as Vice Principal of the DuBois Area High School.
McLaughlin’s official start date is Monday, September 26.
The board also approved purchasing a truck cab and dump body to replace their 1989 dump truck. The cost is estimated to be around $94,000.
Superintendent Wendy Benton reminded the public of the homecoming festivities taking place Friday.
The homecoming tailgate will be 3:15 to 5:15 p.m., and the parade will follow at 5:45. The football game will kick off at 7 p.m. with the homecoming court being crowned during halftime.
