Mock Interviews

The High School facilitated mock interviews as an extension of our PAES Lab on Wednesday, December 8. Students participating in our life skills program completed job applications and polished their interview skills and future career plans through the process. The teachers and educational support staff did an amazing job preparing the students for the interviews. I was honored to help facilitate the interviews and was elated to see the confidence our students displayed sharing their skills, passion and career plans. I was especially touched by the students perceptions of their references. Many students listed their teachers and support staff as their references and all students shared positive characteristics that would make them a great employee. I’m most grateful to our special education department for providing the opportunity for our students and even more so for the confidence they are instilling in our future workforce.
