DUBOIS – A free and special event is coming up this evening at DuBois Area High School.
At the DAHS auditorium starting at 6:30pm, the school’s Hope Squad is showing the documentary film: “My Ascension.”
It’s the story of a young woman who was left paralyzed when she attempted to take her own life. She now lives each day trying to help others not lose hope.
A question-and-answer session about suicide awareness and prevention will follow the film with a panel of speakers from PeerStar and the Clearfield-Jefferson Suicide Prevention Team. …
