
KITTANNING – A Kittanning man is facing felony charges after he allegedly crashed after swerving to deliberately scare his passenger.
According to police, on October 4th 56 year-old Thomas Shoup was allegedly driving while under the influence with a female passenger.
He then allegedly began swerving the car trying to scare the passenger before crashing into the tree line on Route 36 in Eldred Township.
He was then placed under arrest and sent to Penn Highlands Brookville for a legal blood draw which revealed he was under the influence.
He is now facing felony charges including aggravated assault by vehicle and driving while under the influence.
