UNDATED – A drought watch has been put in place for around half of the state, including Clearfield, Elk, and Jefferson Counties.

With very limited rain over the summer, you are being asked to keep aware of your water consumption.

The Department of Environmental Protection says that you could shorten your shower warm up times, check for leaks, and replace appliances with more efficient options.

This watch affects Beaver, Bradford, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Lycoming, McKean, Mercer, Potter, Schuylkill, Somerset, Tioga, Venango, Warren, and Washington counties
