Downtown DuBois Scarecrow Contest

SHARE NOW

DUBOIS – As you travel through the City of DuBois you may notice scarecrows of all shapes and sizes littering the downtown area. This is all part of a contest that you can now vote for.

Hosted by Downtown DuBois, the first of its kind event, gave the community the opportunity to decorate and display a slew of unique scarecrows.

According to the Executive Director of Downtown DuBois, Shirley Dahrouge, you can start voting for your favorite now.

“The scarecrow voting has begun, you can do so on our Facebook page,“ explained Dahrouge. “Just like or heart the scarecrow that is your favorite, and voting will continue until October 20th, and we will announce winners at the Sunny106 Halloween Parade.”

She also said you can vote for more than one scarecrow if more than one catches your eye.
