A DuBois man didn’t show for his weekend jail sentence for a DUI and now he’s running from police. Pennsylvania State Police said Donald Frantz failed to appear at the Jefferson County Jail on July 7, 2023. Frantz was reported to be at a residence on South Brady Street, but he then fled on foot toward Highland Street. Tuesday the area was canvased by law enforcement, drones and aviation units with no results. Frantz was last seen wearing a red shirt and tan pants.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510. Police do not believe he is dangerous or a threat to the community.
