Dog rescued from hot SUV at Brookville truck stop

Brookville, PA – A dog was safely rescued from a hot car at a truck stop in Brookville.

Concerned citizens reported to Brookville Police on July 7 that there was a dog locked inside an SUV at the Flying J Truck Stop.

Officers removed the dog from the vehicle and provided it with shelter and water.

Temperatures were 90 degrees that day, and the dog was at serious risk of overheating.

The owner of the dog was cited.
