HomeLocal NewsDetours in effect in DuBois for road restorationDetours in effect in DuBois for road restorationTue, July 5, 2022 by Louise BennettSHARE NOW Sandy Twp. – Some traffic alerts for you today:A portion of Dixon Avenue in DuBois near the intersection of Brady Street will be closed for repairs 10pm Wednesday night through 10pm Thursday night.The road restoration is necessary following the recent water valve replacement project that took place along the South Brady Street corridor.In a separate traffic notice: Kiwanis Trail from Old Woods Road to South Main Street remains CLOSED select days as part of another on-going project, weather permitting.The project runs Mondays thru Thursdays on portions of Kiwanis Trail.Those who live in the area will need to use the detour during the hours of 6:00am to 3:00pm daily.
