DuBois, PA – If you travel through Maple Avenue and East Park Avenue, you’ll need to use a detour. The planned detour for the current phase of the Park Avenue reconstruction project will be put into effect immediately.
As a reminder, the new traffic pattern will include the following:
Traffic on East Park Avenue and Maple Avenue from Brady Street to Third Street will be one-way only, entering from Brady Street. Traffic traveling from Maple Avenue to Brady Street will be detoured to East Scribner Avenue. It is anticipated that this traffic pattern will remain in place until late November 2021, at which time, the East Park Avenue section of the project will be fully complete.
City residents are requested to avoid the area by using alternate routes, if possible. If you must travel through the construction zone, please be cautious and alert from construction workers and vehicles. The City of DuBois says they appreciate your patience and understanding as they complete this project in order to maintain the city’s infrastructure and transportation systems.
