Deadline to select 2022 coverage plan through PA’s Pennie insurance

Harrisburg, PA – Today marks the deadline to select a plan for 2022 coverage through Pennie™ that will begin New Year’s Day. Pennsylvanians who are uninsured can visit pennie.com and enroll in a plan before midnight on December 15.

Pennie is the only source for financial assistance to help with monthly premium payments or out-of-pocket costs. Nine out of 10 Pennie customers qualify for financial savings. In addition, due to the stability of the health insurance market and the savings provided by the American Rescue Plan, health coverage has never been more affordable or within budget.

Pennie.com provides online tools for those looking to evaluate their potential costs, saving opportunities, and plan options. These tools let customers compare different plans without having to provide any personal information, so they can easily see which plans best fit their budget. Pennie also has a free, unbiased team available to provide enrollment support for those looking for a bit more assistance. In addition, Pennie’s customer service center is staffed with dedicated resources ready to answer questions and walk customers through the process.

Following December 15, customers can still enroll in Pennie’s 2022 Open Enrollment Period up until the deadline of January 15. Their coverage will then begin on February 1, 2022.
