PENFIELD – A Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources building at S.B. Elliot State Park in Clearfield County was destroyed by fire late Friday night.
Firefighters from five different companies in Clearfield and Jefferson counties responded, and they battled the flames for over three hours.
There were no injuries reported, and the total value of the destroyed property has not been revealed.
The State Police Fire Marshal’s office has begun an investigation into the cause of the fire.
