Curwensville woman sentenced for stealing over $5,000 from employer

CLEARFIELD – A Curwensville woman has been sentenced to up to one year of county jail time for stealing more than $5,000 from her employer.

According to Clearfield County Court documents, 36-year-old Patricia Bohannan pleaded guilty this week to a charge of theft by unlawful taking.

Bohannan reportedly pocketed the money gradually from a register at a Curwensville convenience store where she worked in 2022.

Bohannon’s sentence includes 90 days-to-one year in the county prison, three years of probation, a $300 fine, and she must pay restitution to the convenience store in the total amount of $5,843.
