CURWENSVILLE – Investigation continues into a case of suspected fraud involving the sale of a horse through Facebook in Clearfield County.
According to the State Police, a 57-year-old Curwensville woman attempted to purchase a horse which was advertised as being for sale on the social media site.
The woman reportedly sent an unknown suspect $850-worth of Green Dot cards. Police say the suspect didn’t uphold their end of the sale agreement.
