CLEARFIELD – Child endangerment charges have been filed against a 25-year-old Curwensville woman for raising three young children in a filthy apartment.

According to court documents, Kylie Rankin waived her rights to a preliminary hearing last week.

Curwensville Borough Police assisted Children and Youth Services at Rankin’s Fourth Avenue apartment where they allegedly found numerous stains on the walls and carpet, rotting food, large piles of dirty and soiled clothing, animal waste, and trash.

Bail for Rankin was set at $15,000.

Her three children have been placed in the care of a relative.
