Clearfield – More state prison time will be served by a Curwensville man who plead guilty Friday to assaulting and strangling a woman.

According to court documents, 28-year-old Paul Fleming pleaded guilty to counts of strangulation, terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

He was sentenced to serve an additional six months to three years.

That’s on top of an 18-month to three-year sentence he must serve for a prior drug case.

The latest charges against Fleming stem from a violent attack on the victim in August 2021.
