Bloom Township, PA – A Curwensville man was left with serious injuries after striking a tree in Clearfield County.

State Police say 63-year-old Glenn Gearhart had been driving along Greenville Pike in Bloom Township, close to its intersection with Chestnut Grove Highway, on Nov. 6.

It seems as though Gearhart veered off one side of the road, overcorrected, then his Subaru Outback went off the other side of the road and struck a tree.

Gearhart had not been wearing his seat belt and was listed as seriously injured. He’ll be charged with careless driving.
