RIDGWAY – A Ridgway man is facing multiple charges after a crash investigation led to the discovery of drugs
Officers responded to a crash along Ridgway Johnsonburg Road on January 1st when 48 year-old William Dowd allegedly attempted to hide drugs in the snow near the scene.
Police report that during a subsequent search, Dowd allegedly tried to conceal additional drugs in his rectum.
In total police discovered 19 bags of methamphetamines and 26 fentanyl pills.
Dowd was then taken into custody where he faces DUI and drug charges.
