Fall Creek, PA – Two people suffered minor injuries in a crash in Falls Creek on Monday.

State Police in DuBois say it happened around 3:19 p.m. Monday afternoon when 27-year-old Maria Gresco from Rockton had been driving her 2018 Chevrolet Cruze on Osborne Avenue.

She was trying to turn onto Third Street in Falls Creek but failed to stop at the stop sign and pulled into the path of a 2011 Cadillac SRX driven by 69-year-old Jerry Fye from Falls Creek.

After the initial collision, Gresco’s vehicle spun and struck a utility pole. Fye’s vehicle went off the roadway and struck a post with five mailboxes, then went onto private property and struck a parked 2008 Chevrolet Silverado.

Gresco had not been wearing a seat belt. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois by ambulance.

Fye was wearing a seat belt. He also had minor injuries but did not need to be taken to the hospital.

Both vehicles had disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
