DUBOIS – A Coroner has been called for a multi-vehicle crash on interstate early Wednesday.
We received reports just past 6am of the multi-vehicle crash involving three tractor trailers on interstate I-80 at mile marker 88 on the westbound lane between the DuBois/Brockway exit and Hazen exit.
When our crews arrived on scene, one tractor trailer was completely engulfed in flames.
Since then, we have confirmed that the Punxsutawney Coroner’s office was called to the scene a 30 year old male was confirmed deceased.
We are also receiving reports that traffic is being diverted through Brockway, which has caused major congestion in the area.
As of time of reporting there has been no estimated time for reopening.
