LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – An early morning fire killed two teenagers in Lawrence Township.
At around 1:25 am Tuesday morning crews were dispatched to a fully engulfed house fire on Brown Street.
Once on scene crews learned that two teenage boys were trapped inside the residence.
Crews were able to extract one boy, however both boys were killed in the fire.
Authorities say that the blaze was fueled by gas inside the home, however due to complications it took close to an hour for the gas to be turned off. That, on top of the high winds caused the fire to worsen.
So far, no cause of the blaze has been identified.
