DUBOIS – Consolidation of the City of DuBois and Sandy Township will be the topic of multiple events over the next two days.
The city of DuBois and Sandy Township meet tonight to discuss and work through the consolidation process.
Then on Thursday morning, the DuBois Chamber of Commerce will have their Business Connections Luncheon, where executive director Jodi August says a slew of updates will be heard.
“We’ve invited local leaders from the city of DuBois and Sandy Township to give us updates on consolidation efforts,“ explained August. “This luncheon is at the DuBois Country Club on Thursday August 22nd, it’ll last from 11am until 1pm. We’re excited to hear from these local leaders.”
Consolidation of the city of DuBois and Sandy Township is set for January 2026.
