Congressman Glenn GT Thompson diagnosed with prostate cancer

WASHINGTON, D.C. Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

On Tuesday, Thompson said the diagnosis came as a surprise, but he is determined to continue working as a representative for the people of Pennsylvania15th Congressional District.

Thompson said he feels well, and he will approach treatment as an eternal optimist and a person of faith.

Congressman Thompson, who represents residents of Clearfield, Jefferson, and Elk counties, extended his appreciation to his medical team, family, and everyone he works with and represents in Congress.
