A man facing multiple felony charges, including second-degree murder and arson, was found guilty on all charges Friday.
The jury in the case needed only 90 minutes of deliberation before returning the verdict against 37-year old Jonathan Gallaher of Coalport.
Gallaher had been accused in connection with an April 2021 house fire in Coalport which claimed the life of 33-year old Matthew Troxell.
The trial lasted three days in Clearfield County Court.
District Attorney Ryan Sayers said after the trial that Gallaher will get life in prison for the homicide and arson charges.
Gallaher’s sentencing will be within 60 days.
