DUBOIS – If you live in DuBois, you may notice cloudy drinking water this week.
Public Works Director Scott Farrell says that recent storms caused elevated levels of manganese to enter the water filtration plant.
“Everything’s safe,” explained Farrell. “There’s nothing wrong with it, It’s just a little cloudy, won’t hurt you.”
Farrell says crews are adjusting the chemical treatment, and the water should return to normal by Monday or Tuesday.
