Clearfield woman pleads guilty to hindering apprehension and drug possession

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield woman is facing up to eight years in state prison after pleading guilty to criminal charges in seven separate cases.

27-year-old Amber Dunsmore was sentenced Tuesday following her guilty pleas to conspiracy escape, hindering apprehension, possession of drugs, and child endangerment.

Dunsmore is the daughter of Robert Miller, one of the two men who escaped from the Clearfield County Jail on Memorial Day by walking away from a grass-mowing work detail.

Miller was found several weeks later, hiding in a crawl space at Dunsmore’s house.

Dunsmore repeatedly denied to police that Miller was hiding at her home.
