CLEARFIELD – A man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly attempted to flee from officers who were attempting to make a warrant arrest last Thursday.

Police say they noticed 58 year-old Robert Litzinger walking on railroad tracks around Race Street and Krebs Avenue. Police knew he had an arrest warrant and attempted to make contact.

Police say he then began to run down the tracks in an effort to flee from authorities. After a short foot chase, police were able to take Litzinger to the ground and place him under arrest.

While searching his person, police allegedly found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

He is now at the Clearfield County Jail facing fleeing, drug, trespass, and resisting charges on top of the warrant.
