Clearfield Sends Letter of Intent to Withdraw from Police

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough Council has voted to send a letter to the Regional Police Commission stating their intent to withdraw from the Police Department.

This follows a ruling made last week that the council could not withdraw from the Police Department without giving a one year notice.

While the council is willing to negotiate, they plan to terminate the contract if no solutions are found by the end of the year.
