CLEARFIELD – Reports of a student with firearms at Moshannon Valley Homecoming Dance has been deemed unfounded.
During investigation Troopers discovered the reports stemmed from an incident between two juveniles at the previous day’s football game.
Troopers were able to detain the individual in question and determine that they had no firearms or any contact with any weapons.
After further investigation, police were able to determine that the alleged firearm was never seen by any witnesses. Troopers also say that there is no evidence that a firearm or any weapon was ever on school grounds.
In a Monday update, police revealed that after analyzing all surveillance they were unable to locate anyone who had known a weapon was on school grounds.
