Clearfield Police: vehicle accidents, suspicious person

Clearfield, PA – A couple of vehicle accidents happened in Clearfield recently, including one that ended in a physical altercation. Police also assisted EMS twice at the Penn Highlands Clearfield emergency department with disorderly patients. Clearfield Police investigated reports of a suspicious man behind the Clearfield County Courthouse, but they were unable to find anyone. In one of the smaller cases, police also helped remove a bat from a home without injuring the animal.

Police responded to a vehicle accident near the intersection of Nichols St and Weaver St. EMS arrived on scene and transported one of the driver’s to the hospital.

Clearfield Borough Police responded to a vehicle accident on Hannah St. While enroute, police were advised that the individuals were engaged in a physical altercation. Police arrived on scene and located both parties. Incident to be investigated.

Police responded to a report of a bat inside a residence. Police arrived and assisted with removing the bat without injury to the animal.

Clearfield Police responded to an altercation at the fairgrounds. Police arrived and separated the parties.

Officers responded to a report of trespassing at a Spruce St residence. Police arrived and removed the person from the property. Charges to be filed.

Police were requested to assist EMS at the emergency department as they were attempting to unload a disorderly patient. Police arrived and assisted EMS and ED Staff with the patient.

Clearfield Borough Police responded to a vehicle accident on Martin St involving a single vehicle into a utility pole. EMS arrived on scene and transported the driver.

Police were requested to the ED to assist with a disorderly patient. Police arrived and assisted ED Staff.

Clearfield Police responded to a report of a suspicious male behind the courthouse. Police searched the area with negative results.
