Clearfield Police: Santa sighting, vehicle with warrants, gun shots fired

Clearfield, PA – Clearfield Borough police had a little fun with their usual police reports this week, noting that some of their officers responded to reports of a suspicious red sleigh being pulled by reindeer, being operated by a jolly man dressed in a red suit.

In more serious police reports coming out of Clearfield recently, police located a suspicious vehicle in the area of Daisy Street. Officers made contact with the vehicle and found multiple occupants to contain warrants.

Clearfield Borough Police also received a report of gun shots being fired in the area of S 5th Street. Officers investigated and discovered bullet holes in a nearby structure. Police took a man into custody, but they don’t give any further details. No one was injured.

On Christmas Eve, Police responded to a report of a suspicious red sleigh being pulled by reindeer. The sleigh was reported to be on top of a Clearfield Borough residence and was being operated by a male dressed in a red suit.

Police and EMS responded to a report of a young child experiencing breathing difficulties at a Spruce St residence. Police and EMS arrived on scene. EMS transported the child to the hospital.

While on patrol, police located a suspicious vehicle in the area of Daisy St. Officers made contact with the vehicle and found multiple occupants to contain warrants.

Police received a report of gun shots being fired in the area of S 5th St. Police investigated and discovered bullet holes in a near by structure. Police learned the identity of the male and he was taken into custody.

Police are investigating a report of a burglary that occurred on Williams St.
