Clearfield, PA – Clearfield Borough Police helped with a few medical and psychological emergencies recently.
In one case, they used CPR on a woman who had collapse on a sidewalk. In another recent case, they transported a woman to Penn Highlands for a psychological evaluation. Th next day, Clearfield Borough Police were called to a disturbance between a man and woman and found that the woman was under the influence of medication. They also helped locate an 11-year-old girl who had fled from a vehicle during an argument with her mother.
April 28, 2021
1. Police responded to Penn Highlands Clearfield for an assault patient that arrived on her own. After further investigation, police arrived at a residence on the 300 block of Daisy Street and arrested the male for Simple Assault. The male was then transported to CCJ.
2. Police responded to Bigler Avenue and Daisy Street for a female that collapsed on the sidewalk. CPR was initiated by officers until Clearfield EMS arrived on scene. The female was then transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield by EMS.
3. Police were dispatched to Turnpike Avenue and McBride Street for a female riding a fourwheeler on the road. The incident is under further investigation.
4. Police responded to Krebs Avenue for a female having a psychological emergency. The female was transported to Penn Highlands for an evaluation.
5. Police conducted a traffic stop and it was found that the passenger contained a warrant through this department. The male was able to satisfy the warrant.
April 29, 2021
1. Police responded to Daisy St for a report of a disturbance between a male and female. Police arrived and found the female to be under the influence of medication. EMS was summoned to check on her and she was transported to the hospital for treatment.
2. Police responded to NW 4th Ave for a report of juveniles that were inside an abandoned building. Police responded and checked the building and found nobody inside.
3. Police responded to Martin St for an 11-year-old that had fled from a vehicle during an argument with her mother. The female was located several blocks away.
