
Clearfield, PA – After a man reportedly left a home carrying a firearm while making concerning statements, Clearfield Borough Police jumped into action. They found the man in question, and he agreed to come to the police station. The unnamed man was then taken to the hospital for mental health concerns.
In another case while Clearfield Borough Police were on patrol, they saw a man who fit the description of a suspect wanted for another incident. The man allegedly gave them a false name. He was found to have controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and had multiple active warrants. It’s unclear from the report if the man was indeed the suspect they were looking for.
Fire crews and police came to a home on Daisy Street recently for reports of trash being on fire near a residence. They quickly extinguished the flames. There was minor property damage due to the fire, and police are investigating.
