Clearfield Police: intoxicated couple with child, police escort Larry the Cable Guy

Clearfield, PA – Clearfield Borough Police continued to have a busy week as the Clearfield County Fair is in town.

On Wednesday, some of the officer assisted Larry the Cable Guy with an escort out of the fairgrounds after his performance.

In other police reports out of Clearfield, officers found a man and woman in an argument on a sidewalk on South Third Street. They found that both individuals were heavily intoxicated, they were in supervision of a small child, and one of them had an active warrant. CYS was contacted, and police continue to investigate.

They also got reports of a disorderly mental health patient at the hospital. Clearfield officers arrived, deescalated the situation, and stayed with the patient until he was transferred to a different facility.

Police responded to a report of a disorderly mental health patient at the hospital. Police arrived on scene and deescalated the incident and stayed with the patient until he was transferred to a different facility.

Police responded to a report of 2 person potentially inside a vacant residence. Police arrived and did not locate anyone inside.

Clearfield Borough Police responded to a report of a male and female engaged in an argument on the sidewalk of S 3rd St. Police arrived and found the individuals to be heavily intoxicated and in supervision of a small child. One person was found to contain a warrant and was taken into custody. CYS was contacted in reference to the child. Police are investigating.

Police assisted Larry The Cable Guy with an escort out of the fairgrounds following his performance at the Clearfield County Fair.

Multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia were located by a good Samaritan and provided to police for disposal.

Clearfield Police responded to N. 3rd St for a report of two individuals who held active arrest warrants. Police arrived and located the male and female. Both of them fled on foot in different directions but were both caught by Police. Both were found to have active arrest warrants through the Clearfield County Sheriffs Office and both were found to be in possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia. Both were taken to the Clearfield Jail. Police were assisted by the Clearfield Sheriff’s Office.

Police were called about a male that was unresponsive in the backseat of a vehicle. The vehicle was driving towards the hospital. Police intercepted the vehicle in a nearby parking lot and found a male unresponsive in the backseat. Narcan was administered and the male became responsive. He was found to have multiple warrants from Centre County and Clearfield County Sheriffs Office. A female who was found with him was found to have an active warrant from the Westmorland County Sheriffs Office. Both were transported to the Jail and lodged on the warrants.

Police also handled several minor accidents and parking complaints.

 

Other Clearfield Borough Police reports, released Aug. 6, 2021:

Police assisted EMS at the fairgrounds with 2 unrelated incidents.

Clearfield Police responded to an altercation at the fairgrounds involving 2 females. Police arrived and separated the parties. Nothing physical had occurred and the party was warned of their actions.

Police were advised by EMS Personnel at the fairgrounds of a missing juvenile. Police arrived in the area and assisted with locating the juvenile and returning him to his parents.

While on patrol at the fairgrounds, police observed a female that contained an active warrant. Police made contact with the female who was then taken into custody.

Police responded to a report of a mental health crisis at a Spruce St residence. Police made contact with the individual who was seeking help. Police assisted the individual to the hospital.
