Clearfield Police: juveniles planning on breaking into vehicles

Clearfield, PA – Clearfield Borough Police are warning residents that they received tips that some juveniles were planning on breaking into vehicles. They also took a report about a car that had illegally failed to stop for a school bus, reunited a disoriented man with his family, and responded to an alcohol overdose.

Reports from Oct. 28 –

Clearfield Borough Police received a report of a theft of medication. According to the victim, another female went to CVS Pharmacy and picked up the victim’s prescription medication. The female never returned with the medication. Charges to be filed.

Police were dispatched to a cardiac arrest at a residence on East 8th Street. It was later found that the individual was not in cardiac arrest but overdosing on alcohol. The individual was transported to Penn Highlands for treatment.

Clearfield Borough Police officer served a mental health warrant on a female at her residence on North 2nd Street. The female was transported by officers to Penn Highlands for a mental health evaluation.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Hook Street for a disturbance between two neighbors. Both were warned for their actions.

Police were dispatched to the area of Turnpike Avenue and McBride Street for a suspicious male who was to be walking between houses. Police were not able to locate the male.

Police received information that several juveniles were planning on breaking into vehicles. Police want to remind residents to lock their vehicles and report any suspicious activity immediately.

Reports from Oct. 25 –

Police were notified by a local school bus company that a vehicle had traveled past a school bus while it was unloading children. Police are investigating the incident.

Clearfield Borough Police responded to a report of a disoriented male walking on the side of Gulich Ave. Police arrived in the area and assisted the male with getting in contact with his family.

Officers responded to a noise complaint at an E Cherry St residence. Police made contact with the resident who agreed to be quiet.

Police were dispatched to a minor “fender bender” vehicle accident on E Market St. Police arrived and located the driver involved. The driver was observed to be intoxicated. Police are investigating the incident.

Police were dispatched to a suspicious person exiting a vacant house on Daisy St. Police arrived in the area but were unable to locate the individual involved.

Lawrence Township Police requested this department’s assistance with locating a male who was observed to throw an item at a residence with the intent to damage the property. Police arrived in the area located the male on Reed St where he was taken into custody.
