Clearfield Police: fuel leak, vehicle on train tracks, angry patient


Clearfield Borough, PA – Clearfield Borough Police had a couple of minor incidents, including a mental health emergency, a disorderly patient at Penn Highlands Clearfield, an argument over a stolen phone, a fuel leak on a roadway, a strange odor in a home, and a vehicle that got stuck on the train tracks.

Police responded to the hospital for a disorderly patient. Officers arrived on scene and assisted with deescalating the patient.

Police responded to a Spruce St residence for a mental health emergency. Police and EMS arrived on scene and assisted the individual with transportation to the hospital.

Police conducted a vehicle stop which resulted in the operator being found under the influence of alcohol.

While on patrol in the area of N 4th St, police located a heavily intoxicated male. The male was provided transportation home. Charges to be filed.

Police received a notification of a theft from a UPS Box in the area of E Locust St. Police are investigating.

Police responded to a S 3rd St business for a report of theft. The caller reported that an individual had stolen her phone. Police later learned the matter was civil.

While on scene with another incident, officers heard loud yelling coming from inside a residence. Police made contact with the residents and found the argument to be verbal in nature. The parties were warned of their actions.

Police responded to a report of a car becoming stuck on the train tracks. Police arrived on scene and moved the vehicle with assistance from a tow truck.

Police and EMS responded to a report of a female requesting a ride to the hospital. EMS arrived and provided the female transportation.

LTPD requested this department’s assistance with a possible cardiac arrest located in a State Route 322 hotel room. Police arrived and assisted EMS with transporting the patient to the hospital.

Police responded to an altercation in the area of Hook St. The caller reported that she was struck with a leaf blower. Police arrived and separated the parties involved.

Police responded to a report of an unresponsive male inside of a vehicle in a Nichols St parking lot. Police and EMS arrived and transported the male to the hospital.

Police monitored vehicle speed on S 2nd St during school bus drop off times. Citations were issued to motorists in violation of the 15 MPH Speed Limit.

Police and Fire Crews responded to a report of a suspicious odor inside a W 2nd Ave residence. Fire Crews determined the source to be from the furnace and to be harmless.

Police and Fire Crews responded to a fuel leak on Nichols St. Fire Crews were able to remove the fuel from the roadway.

Police responded to a disturbance at an E Locust St residence. The caller reported that she was in a verbal argument with another individual. Police arrived and deescalated the incident.

Police received a report of a hit and run in the area of Bigler Ave and E 6th St. Police are investigating.

Police responded to a suspicious vehicle in the area of W 6th Ave. Police located the vehicle and found the occupants to be okay.

Police and Fire Crews responded to an automatic fire alarm at a W Front St building. The incident was determined to be a false alarm.
