Clearfield man to serve up to 12 years on drug charges

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man has been sentenced to three-to-12-years in state prison for possessing a large amount of Fentanyl, carfentanyl, and crystal meth.

According to police and state parole agents, the drugs were found in a hotel room rented by 31-year-old Joshua McLaughlin in Lawrence Township.

Nearly 187 grams of crystal meth was found as well as over 68 grams of Fentanyl and carfentanyl. McLaughlin reportedly told officers that the reason he had so much was that he robbed another drug dealer.
