Clearfield, PA – Clearfield Borough Police have arrested a man for stealing a vehicle, as well as stealing the items that we also found in the vehicle.
Paul Hoyt from Clearfield was found and arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 23 for theft of a motor vehicle and other related charges.
As police were investigating the vehicle theft, they found other items inside the vehicle that were also stolen but do not belong to the original owner.
It is believed that Hoyt was in the downtown area most of the evening and into the morning of Dec. 22 and into Dec. 23.
Hoyt’s age is not listed in the police report.
Police are asking the residents of the downtown area to check their vehicles to see if any items were removed.
