Clearfield man pleads guilty to theft, arson and resisting arrest

Clearfield – A Clearfield man will serve one to three years of state prison time after pleading guilty to felony theft, arson and resisting arrest.

36-year-old Thomas Peters was sentenced in Clearfield County Court Monday.

According to court documents, Peters stole two vehicles from the auto repair shop where he worked earlier this year and set fire to one of them.

Peters was reportedly using methamphetamine, and he fought with police officers, injuring one of them, when they tried to arrest him on March 31^st.
